Do you have Pets? 

Yes, we do have pets. I believe that animals can be extremely good for both adults & for children. Any time that children spend with our pets is always strictly supervised. We have two dogs, a tortoise, and fish tanks.  I've found that kids really enjoy the reward of being able to walk a dog to the park, feed the fish, or give the tortoise a bath. Safety and cleanliness guidelines are always followed.

What is your policy with T.V?

The t.v is rarely used in my home because I don't believe in television as a babysitter.  I feel children can grow, learn and develop social skills from interacting with other kids and playing in groups.  Occasionally, we do  watch pre-approved children's movies or special children's programs.

What do I do if you are sick or on vacation?

If I have a necessary appointment that will only have me out of the house for a little while my husband is available to watch the children.  I also have other licensed child care providers I work with in the event I am sick or on vacation.  You will be notified in advance if someone other than myself is going to watch your children.

Do you offer a Preschool Program?

Yes, I do offer a preschool program.  A portion of each day will consist of working on age appropriate curriculum, including colors, numbers, and letters (math or literature when appropriate). Stories are a part of each and every day, as well as learning sign language, potty training and art projects. At this age preschool curriculum is kept brief and energetic to encourage their attention and excitement to learn.
